“Hear my prayer, O LORD; listen to my cry for mercy. In the day of my trouble I will call to you, for you will answer me.” ps 86.6
Isn’t it amazing what God can do when you ask of him!!
Yesterday afternoon Dad was struck into a corner post while working the cattle to get ready to go to market. He was knocked out for a short period of time and injured his left side of his back. Mom and i rushed him very quickly to Bengough where he was transported to Weyburn. I rode in the ambulance and the whole way there i was on the phone asking family to pray for Dad and his unknown head injury. Mom was following in the car and doing the same thing i was- she first phoned our church prayer chain, and they sent out the mesage.
The ladies class that mom was going to lead still went so that they could pray together as a group. When 2 or more gather the Lord hears.
Well the LORD is GOOD!!! Dad this morning is doing not to bad, better than he was doing even in the later evening. We are so thankful for the prayers being sent Dad’s way. The doctor said that his shoulder was fine, very sore and stiff but fine. Praise our wonderful God!!
I would like to say a bit about facebook last nite- i am sorry to those who paniced when they read it. Dad’s Aunts showed up at the hospital last nite fearing and worried about Dad’s health. Grandma Viv even had one of her friends from Hong Kong phone her this morning worried because of what she read.
It caused us a bit of stress while we were at the emergency too. Because mom started getting phone calls and i was getting texts while we were trying to help Dad. Dallas and Ray did not even know yet once we found out it was on the web, so we had to quick phone them too. So you see it was work having to deal with the bit of panic and worry put out because of facebook. I am so sorry about that.
“I cried out to God for help; I cried out for God to hear me. When I was in distress I sought the Lord;… Your ways, O God, are holy. What God is so great as our God? You are the God who preforms miracles; you display your power amoung the peoples.” ps. 77
The doctor has to see Dad this morning and we will soon know when he gets to go home- and not do cows but rest rest rest and let the youngin’s do the work!
Thanks you for your prayers for Dad.
