Main floor addition!

I should have put this picture on the porch update- but i forgot.  We ended up putting 1 window on the west side and a skylite right in the middle of the roof.  I really like the skylite and could put them everywhere!!

You can see in this picture that the sideing has been taken off for the rafters to go on!

This week Joel asked Scott Manske and dad to help him put up the rafters and the roof!  They got all done in like 6 hours- i was surprised i thought it would take way longer, we paid a little bit more and had all the rafters prebuilt.  It was worth it.

Next week when it dries up from the rain the shingles and windows go on/in.

I am so excited- i keep telling that to Joel when he tells me something he has done at the house.  He could hammer in one nail where i will never again see it and i would tell him how excited i was about it!!  I am just so happy and excited!!

Next the basement rough plumbing and cement floor!  Then trenching for power, water and phone.  Then the furnace (november 1stish) and electrical… next, next, next, then, then, then…  woot!  woot!
