Yeah porch!

From instruction from the house mover, we had to remove the porch to move the house.  At first we were disapointed but after ripping it off we saw the insides weren’t super.  So it will be good to have a new strong and insulated porch, as this is also on the west side and will recieve lots of cold winter wind.

This actually turned out well because i got to get it 2 feet longer, i wanted like 5 or 7 feet longer but it does not work because of the slope of the roof.  So i got 2 feet.

Joel first had to build footings to support the whole thing.

Then build the floor and insulate.

Next the walls and the door frame.

Look its me!!  I’m helping!!

I don’t think we are going to put a window in but a full lite door.??  Maybe, maybe not because i want all of the wall space that i can get and on half the porch a want a sorta walk-in-closet thingy.  Or i thought a venting 1/2 lite door and a sidelight beside the door.  Maybe, i don’t know.  What do you think?

Well now that i see all the walls up i think i need a window on the west-south side for sure.  I really love windows and natural light- alot.  Then Sandy and i were thinking one on the outside south corner as well, when she suggested it i was like “yep sounds good, spend some more money!”

Maybe, maybe not!
