Mom and Dad have a seasonal spot at Nickle Lake. So we went there for the first time this year after Dalton’s grad. The water and our families crazy busy lives has kept us from enjoying the lake. We were able to be there from Thursday to Sunday after church- it was hot and wonderful.
This is Dallas- Dad bought this sea-doo early this spring and when he got it the ‘boys’ went out and tried it on the dugout and a large slough. They were very excited and it looks like a lot of fun- can’t wait to try it!!
Food and the boat go super good together! Usually yummy salty (sometimes soggy)chips!
These are friends of Grandma Vivy from the Ukrain. Victor and Maryna work in Weyburn now for about a year now.
I love the beach, i love the boat, i love the camper, i love lake food, i love everything about the lake!
Probably because i have such fond memories of our family growing up and going to the lake. Every Sunday after church all summer long we would go to Avonlea or Coronach dam, invite as many people as we could and play all afternoon. I can remember getting a good window seat at church and watching the wind blow in the trees all service; just making sure i would be able to tell dad what the weather forcast looked like when church was over!!
There was many a storms we raced trying to get all the toys packed up, and trying to enjoy that one last ski of the nite. Just getting in the truck loaded up in the last second before the huge thunder storm would be upon us. I have so many happy memories of the lake and my family.
I really want the boys to have those memories of family and love for the lake too. I think we are off to a good start!
