Jalapeno Stuffed Burgers

This recipe is from Melissa (my sister-in-law).

It is super yummy we tried it last nite, and it is actually really easy! Perfect combo.

2-3 jalapenos

olive oil

Brush jalapenos with the oil and BBQ on med. for like 8-10 minutes- or until they look nice and toasty.  I left mine whole.

Seed and half the peppers then really finely chop them up. I used my pampered chef hand chopper- so i would not have to touch them.

30z cream cheese

bacon crumbled- what you would like maybe 3-4T

Mix the jalapenos, cream cheese and bacon well- set aside.

2 lbs meat- i would like to try 1/2 pork and 1/2 beef next time. The all beef ones were perfect too.

2 garlic

1 tsp salt

1 tsp lemon pepper

1/2 tsp pepper

1/4 tsp paprika

Mix all these together and split into 4 equal balls.  Split those 4 into 8.  Then flatten as much as you can- you don’t want them to turn into balls.  I had to use a flipper to stack and move them.

Add the cream cheese mixture to the center of 4 patties leaving an edge all the way around.

These are open as you can see.

These are on the BBQ!  Getting close!

We cooked them for 6-7 minutes on each side.

At the end we toasted the buns on the BBQ.

These are cooked and ready to eat!!
