Some church days go like this-
7.45am- oh crap slept in, i guess no shower
8.00am- breakfast HURRY UP AND SIT AT THE TABLE AND EAT!!
8.30am- still not done breakfast HURRY UP WE ARE GOING TO BE LATE FOR CHURCH!!
8.30am- 9.20am- runnning around like a chicken with my head cut off
– i don’t really know what happens in this grey area usually not very much- i think more yelling
9.20am- HURRY UP AND GET YOUR SHOES ON WE HAVE TO GET GOING!!
9.30am- I SAID GET YOUR SHOES ON WE HAVE TO GET TO CHURCH!!
– now the boys are crying and i am more upset that they are wasting time crying when they could do that in the truck. WE HAVE TO GO!!
9.50am- we are in the truck. everyone is crying. i am grumpy that i was so short with the boys. we are late for church and i teach the little ones. i try to sweet talk the boys in the truck and let them know i love them.
10.10am- we get to church late.
YIKES!! Isn’t that crazy, i am so thankful for Joel when he is home this does not happen. He is working 2 Sundays out of every 5, so 2 Sundays out of 5 this is what happens!
Yesterday was so wonderful, i did not dilly dally, i woke with the sun (not joking- hormones), i had breakfast ready on time and we were 10 minutes early to church. It was so wonderful!! I loved being so prepared, the morning was calm and relaxing, everyone was happy, it was good.
And those crazy days are slowly becoming fewer and far between which makes me feel really good about how things are going. I think i am becoming smarter as time goes by and that is awsome for all of us. So today enjoy each other.
We went for dinner at a friend’s house and they had this gator. Kai was crazy on it- no idea really how to drive. He crashed a number of times, once running over Cash and pinning him under the front tire!!
This is at mom and dad’s, the boys were helping get things spruced up for summer!
I just wanted to take a quick cute picture of them- and they close their eyes and think it is so funny!
We had a very enjoyable day, relaxing and being with one another. I hope we are on a roll!
